Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki, once a typical college student, undergoes a life-altering transformation after a near-fatal encounter with a ghoul named Rize, who attempts to eat him. Surviving her attack, he receives organ transplants from her, granting him ghoul-like abilities but leaving him caught between the human and ghoul worlds. Struggling with his new identity, Kaneki refuses to consume human flesh and learns that the distinctions between ghouls and humans are more complex than he initially believed.
