Joutarou Kujo, a 6'5" Japanese student and marine explorer, is the son of Holly Kujo and grandson of Joseph Joestar. Known for his blue trenchcoat-style school uniform and trademark hat, he initially believes his Stand, Star Platinum, is an evil spirit but later embraces its incredible powers, including superhuman strength and the ability to stop time. Despite his tough, delinquent exterior and quick temper, Joutarou is fiercely loyal and intelligent, often letting his fists do the talking. In the sixth arc, he becomes an oceanologist in the U.S. and has a daughter, Jolyne, who inherits Stand abilities.
